Báo chí đội chúng
I. Khái niệm mở đầu:
Ngoài các mục Phật pháp, chuyên môn, v.v., Gia Đình Phật Tử còn chú trọng
đặc biệt vấn đề huấn luyện cho đoàn sinh về văn nghệ. Văn nghệ gồm nhiều
bộ môn: Ca nhạc, kịch, vũ và báo chí. Vấn đề chúng ta sẽ bàn luận là ở đây
là báo chí. Chính những tờ báo, các em sẽ ghi lại những kỷ niệm ấu thơ,
những mẫu chuyện vui buồn ở trại, những bài thơ làm trong cuộc du ngọan,
những tâm sự trìu mến và thành thật, phản ảnh những suy tư của chính các
em.
Tờ báo lại phản ảnh sự sinh hoạt của Đội, Chúng. Phát triển nguồn cảm hứng
qua các loại thơ, truyện, tùy bút, ca dao, hò, vè... Nơi đây là tiếng nói
trung thực của các em, Đội Chúng mình. Báo chí còn là phương tiện đưa
những bài học lồng vào nhằm mục đích nhắc nhở nhau nên làm điều lành tránh
điều dữ.
II. Giới Thiệu Tổng Quát:
Một tờ báo có hai phần: Hình thức và nội dung.
A. Hình Thức: Có nhiều hình thức như nhựt báo, tuần báo, bán nguyệt san,
nguyệt san, nội san, đặc san.
Về hình thức, nhựt báo có trang lớn ghi tin tức hàng ngày, nội dung không
nhứt định (.....) Tuần san, bán nguyệt san, nguyệt san là một quyển báo
mỏng, trong đó đủ các tiết mục, đủ loại bài. Đặc san, giai phẩm là những
tờ báo bất định kỳ (......)
B. Nội Dung: Nội dung một tờ báo có hai phần:
Để tuyên truyền
Để khảo cứu
Nhật báo ghi lại những biến cố trong một ngày, những tin tức lặt vặt, cấp
tốc, có tính cách nhất thời. Tuần báo, bán nguyệt san, nguyệt san được độc
giả xem, nghiên cứu kỷ càng hơn.
Trong Gia Đình Phật Tử chúng ta nên chọn loại báo nào thích hợp với môi
trường sinh hoạt của các em. Báo tường (bích báo) vừa thích với trình độ
hiểu biết của các em vừa có tính cách kích thích sự tìm hiểu của tính trẻ
hay tò mò. Chúng ta đã có một khái niệm tổng quát về báo chí. Bây giờ hãy
đi vào vấn đề: "Báo Đội, Chúng".
III. Báo đội, chúng:
Là tiếng nói của Đội Chúng. Là nơi để các em trao đổi tâm tình, cũng là
nơi để các em tập làm thơ, viết văn. Đã là Phật tử, báo chí của chúng ta
phải đượm màu sắc đạo vị. Phải hướng theo những tiêu chuẩn xã hội, lành
mạnh, vì Đạo. Phải nói lên tiếng nói của tinh thần Bi, Trí, Dũng. Tờ báo
Đội Chúng cũng gồm hai phần:
A. Hình Thức:
1. Văn tập:
Nên chọn khổ báo vừa phải (cở 8 1/2 in. x 11 in) và không nên dày quá vì
nhu cầu báo vở không có thể đáp ứng được. Trước hết, chọn tên cho tờ báo.
Thường thì lấy tên của Đội, Chúng (Kiền Trắc, Ni-Liên) hoặc những địa danh
trong lịch sử Đức Phật (Anoma, Lộc Uyển). Chọn vài em viết chữ đẹp, trình
bày rõ ràng, mỹ thuật. Vấn đề hình thức rất cần cho tờ báo. Tránh những
màu sắc lòe loẹt chói mắt, nên chọn những màu huyền dịu, thanh nhã phù hợp
với tuổi trẻ. Tranh vẽ cũng thế, phải phù hợp với Gia Đình Phật Tử. Những
hình ảnh về Phật, Bồ Tát phải chú ý đến gương mặt từ bi, hiền hòa. Tốt hơn
các em nên vẻ trang danh lam thắng cảnh, chùa chiền.
2. Báo tường:
Loại báo này thường là một tờ giấy trắng cở lớn, treo trên tường, ở chùa
nơi sinh hoạt. Nên chọn những bài ngắn. Chữ viết rõ ràng. Trình bày đẹp
mắt, làm thế nào người đọc không chán. Lối trình bày làm người xem có thể
đánh giá được giá trị của tờ báo. Chia ra làm nhiều cột ngay ngắn, phân
minh, hình ảnh phải thanh nhã, hợp với đề tài.
B. Nội Dung:
1. Theo tinh thần của từng ngành. Thiếu nam phải có tinh thần tháo vát,
hoạt động chứ không như Thiếu nữ.
2. Nếu muốn làm một văn tập phải tổ chức gồm đủ các tiết mục. Thơ, truyện,
tùy bút, tin tức, vui cười. Bài trong văn tập, phải phản ảnh tinh thần đạo
Phật và tổ chức Gia Đình Phật Tử. Luôn luôn có những bản tin sốt dẽo, hấp
dẫn. Mỗi em nên giữ mỗi tiết mục hợp khả năng. Phải phân chia trách nhiệm
cho minh bạch mới đạt được kết quả tốt đẹp. Bài vở phải được Đoàn Trưởng
kiểm duyệt.
IV. kết luận:
Sứ mệnh thiêng liêng của tờ báo Đội Chúng là tuyên truyền đặc thù, tâm
tình, phản ảnh sự sinh hoạt của Đội Chúng, là phương tiện giáo dục. Các
tiết mục phải hướng đến tinh thần Bi, Trí, Dũng. Nó là tiếng nói chính
thức của Đội Chúng vì vậy tất cả Đội sinh, Chúng viên phải góp bài, phải
chuyền tay nhau xem và giữ lại những thành tích của Đội, Chúng.

Cluster's newspaper
I. introduction:
Besides learning about Buddha's teachings (Phật Pháp) and survival
skills like knot-tying, morse, road symbols, etc. (chuyên môn), the
Buddhist Youth Group also places emphasis on training its members in the
artistic performance (Văn nghệ). Artistic performance (Văn nghệ)
consists of many areas: Singing, dancing and acting, and journalism (báo
chí). This lesson, however, will focus on the area of journalism. In the
pages of these publications, Youth Group members could write about their
personal memories, good and bad experiences that developed from the
camps. These articles could also be poems that were written during a
field trip that the Youth Group went on. It could also be their own
cherished, personal thoughts and feelings.
Additionally, this publication should depict and reveal the activities
of the clusters (Đội, chúng) and instill inspiration through various
styles of poetry, stories, proverbs, folksongs, etc. This publication
represents the combined voices of unity among the members of the cluster
(Đội, chúng). It also serves as a convenient medium for members to
reveal and apply what they have learned, in order to help remind others
to do good deeds and avoid bad conducts.
II. INTRODUCTORY SUMMARY:
A newspaper consists of two components: Style (Hình Thức) and Purpose (Nội
Dung)
A. Style (Hình Thức): There are many types:
- Daily Publication (Nhật Báo)
- Weekly Publication (Tuần Báo)
- Bi-weekly Magazine (Bán Nguyệt San)
- Monthly Magazine (Nguyệt San)
- Internal Magazine, distributed for readers inside the organization (Nội
San)
- Special-Edition Magazine (Nội San)
The Daily Publication (Nhật Báo) is composed on large paper, with
articles written about daily activities and news, without having to
specify a particular purpose. Weekly News (Tuần Báo), Bi-weekly Magazine
(Bán Nguyệt San), and Monthly Magazine (Nguyệt San) are thinly-bind
newspapers, consisting of all-types of articles which are about
all-types of subjects/themes. Special-Edition Magazine (Nội San) is
created for special events.
A. Purpose (Nội Dung): There are two functions:
• To spread news and information, propagandize
• To use as future reference for research
The Daily Publication (Nhật Báo) describes daily activities and general
news. It's written and distributed quickly - "hot off the press",
containing miscellaneous, urgent, or tentative news. Weekly Publication
(Tuần Báo), Bi-weekly Magazine (Bán Nguyệt San), and Monthly Magazine (Nguyệt
San) are distributed to everyone (even those outside of the
organization), so it's put together more carefully and thoroughly.
In the Buddhist Youth Group, we need to choose a type of newspaper style
that fits appropriately with our particular, local Youth Group. Bulletin
Board/Wall Newspaper (Bích Báo) is often popular, and not only does it
provide content matching the level of understanding of the youths but
also stimulate the curious minds of the youth.
Now that we have a summarized understanding of journalism, let's focus
more specifically on " Cluster's (Đội, chúng) Press".
III. Cluster's (Đội, chúng) Press:
This is the voice of the cluster (Đội, chúng). This newspaper allows
members to share and exchange ideas and thoughts, and it allows members
the opportunity to practice writing poems and stories. Because we are
Buddhists, this newspaper should evolve around the application/ideas of
Buddhism. It has to conform to social standards, righteousness, and
religion (leaning toward the concept of building and improving society,
based on Buddhism).
This publication must voice Compassion, Wisdom, and Courage (Bi, Trí,
Dũng). This Cluster's (Đội, chúng) Newspaper consists of two parts:
A. Style (Hình Thức):
1. Booklet style: Choose an appropriate size for the newspaper (8 1/2
in. x 11 in.) and it shouldn't be too thick. Otherwise, you'll have
difficulty finding enough material to fill the publication's pages.
First, choose the name of the newspaper. Usually, it's named after the
Cluster đội, Chúng (for example: Kiền Trắc, Ni-Liên, etc.) or after
important landmarks in the biography of Buddha (Anoma, Lộc Uyển). Choose
someone who has pretty handwriting, to design the newspaper clearly and
artistically. The style and appearance of the newspaper is very
important. Avoid choosing colors that are too distracting, "blinding"
the eyes. Instead, choose colors that are soft and easy to look at and
are suitable for the youth. Pictures should also be chosen in similar
fashion, that is, choose pictures that match/associate with the Buddhist
Youth Group. In choosing pictures of Buddha or Bodhisattvas, remember to
choose the one that has a peaceful, kind, compassionate face. Better
yet, draw pictures associated with well-known and beautiful scenes and
temples.
2. Bulletin Board/Wall Newspaper: This type of style is simply a large,
white sheet of paper that is hung on the wall where the Youth Group
conducts its activities at. Choose short-written articles. Choose
articles that are neatly written. Design and hang these articles onto
the large, white sheet on the wall in a way that is pleasant and
interesting for the readers to look at. How this wall newspaper is
designed can determine the value and worthiness of the newspaper. Evenly
divide this newspaper into columns, and hang pictures that relevantly
match with the written articles.
B. Purpose (Nội Dung)
1. The purpose of the newspaper depends on the feelings and spirits of
each gender group. Guys would probably have more actions and events in
theirs than the girls.
2. If you want to put together a newspaper in a booklet form, there
should be all-types of written articles about all-types of
subjects/ideas. They could be in forms of poetry, stories, editorials,
news, updates, humor, etc. These articles should reflect the ideas,
feelings, and thoughts of Buddhism and the Buddhist Youth Group. Try to
always make each newspaper edition special. Each member should keep a
certain style of writing that matches his/her abilities. Always divide
the responsibilities in order to achieve good results. Each
written-articles should be checked and approved by the leader of the
unit (đoàn trưởng).
IV. Conclusion:
The ultimate role of the cluster's newspaper is to voice thoughts,
feelings, and uniqueness of the Cluster. It should portray the
activities of the Cluster. Also, it serves to teach and guide. Each
piece of written material should conform to the spirit of Compassion,
Wisdom, and Courage. It is the official voice of the Cluster; therefore,
all of the cluster's members need to participate and contribute. All
members must pass around the newspaper and encourage others to read it;
all should consider and preserve the newspaper as achievements of the
Cluster.
